Presentation of an audiovisual work at the Orange Stage, Roskilde Festival, 2024.

In collaboration with 3D artist Gabriel Bott, we created a 3D animation depicting a process of planetary transmutation that leads to the eventual end of the mutated seaweed's immortality. By interweaving the video with an immersive soundscape composed of voices of haenyeo (sea-women), labour songs, and ritual ceremony, the work reconceives human and nonhuman relations through waves of sound and evocative rhythms. Sounding and vocalisation function here as acts of sowing new seeds of life. The audiovisual work was presented at Orange Stage, Roskilde Festival 2024, offering an expanded scale of sounding and listening within a large public space.
